National Appoints Graham Maloney to Corporate Finance Role - 28 January 2003
The National Australia Bank has hired Graham Maloney to take up the role of General Manager, Corporate Finance.
Graham, who commences his new role with the National on March 17, has extensive experience in the Australian equities markets, having held the position of Senior Banking Analyst at Macquarie Bank (1995 to 1999), UBS Warburg (2000 to 2002) and more recently Burdett Buckeridge Young.
In his new role, which reports to the National's Chief Financial Officer, Graham is responsible for Global Balance Sheet Management, Tax and Investor Relations.
Graham previously worked for the National from May 1988 to April 1995 with roles in National Australia Financial Management (NAFM), Group Strategic Development and Group Treasury including Global Head of Balance Sheet Risk, Capital and Liquidity.
As well as experience in Corporate Finance, Graham has broad actuarial experience gained at National Mutual Life (now AXA Australia) and American International Group (Australia).
Graham has a Bachelor of Arts with majors in mathematics and statistics from the University of Sydney and is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries (Australia).
