National Australia Bank Completes MLC Purchase - 30 June 2000

National Australia Bank Ltd (the National) has completed the purchase of the MLC financial services businesses of Lend Lease Corporation Ltd.

The MLC financial services businesses are now owned by the National's life insurance subsidiary, National Australia Financial Management Limited (NAFM), with existing service and infrastructure entities of NAFM and MLC combined under the ultimate ownership of the National.
