MLC Deal Unconditional Settlement - 30 June 2000

National Australia Bank and Lend Lease Corporation Ltd confirmed today that the conditions to the completion of the purchase by National of the MLC businesses from Lend Lease had been satisfied.

All the necessary regulatory approvals to effect the transaction have been notified to the National.

Completion of the transaction is anticipated to occur on Friday 30 June 2000.
