Media Release - John Stewart Addresses Global Unions Conference in New Zealand - 30 March 2004

National Australia Bank Chief Executive Mr John Stewart today told a meeting of the four major unions with members who work for the National Australia Group that he was keen to build a positive relationship with them.

"Our strategic objective is to have great people, a great place to work and winning performance.  Strong relationships with our unions is an important part of that strategy," he said.

The meeting of the unions, FINSEC, FSU, IBOA and UNIFI, is a biennial event on this occasion held in Auckland, New Zealand.
