Media Release - Appointment of Group Manager Government & Public Policy

National Australia Bank today announced the appointment of Steven Munchenberg to the new role of Group Manager Government & Public Policy in the Group Corporate Affairs team.

Steven was formerly Deputy Chief Executive Officer with the Business Council of Australia. Group General Manager, Corporate Affairs, John Simpson said Steven will focus on public policy issues and play a leadership role with Governments in Australia. He will join the NAB in February 2007.

"Robert Jeremenko, formerly Group Manager Government and Industry Affairs, has been appointed to the new role of Group Manager International Government Affairs.

"Robert will bring his extensive experience in politics, government and regulatory policy to lead the strategic positioning of the National Australia Bank in the international arena," Mr Simpson said.

Both positions will report to the Group General Manager, Corporate Affairs.
