ASX Announcement - National Australia Bank Response to RAMS ASX Announcement - 21 November 2007

National Australia Bank said today it continues to work with RAMS in relation to the refinancing of one of the RAMS Extendable Commercial Paper (XCP) programs.

The underlying assets of this RAMS XCP program are prime quality and seasoned Australian residential mortgages that are mortgage insured.

If the program refinancing does not proceed National Australia Bank has a range of options available to it, including funding the mortgage portfolio or holding these assets on balance sheet.
