Our CR Policy and Framework are applicable to all entities within NAB Group. They ensure that the executive committee for each of our key businesses has a clear line of sight and accountability for CR strategy implementation. This reflects our regional business model.
CR governance at NAB

The CR Framework underpins our approach to CR and comprises of a number of elements including: strategy, policies and practices, ownership and accountability, culture, governance, reporting and assurance.
Within the CR Framework, and with regard to other relevant Group policies, each business sets the initiatives and priorities that are best suited to improve its CR performance and to meet the needs of its business, the local operating environment and its key stakeholders.
Throughout the Group, we have personnel specifically dedicated to coordinating and facilitating continuous improvement in CR-related performance.
Our CR Governance Framework provides for Technical Advisory Committees (TACs). They review and develop policies and action plans in response to specific CSR issues, as required. Our Environmental Management Committee is a permanent TAC.
Our Group Operational Risk and Compliance Committee (GORCC) oversees our CR frameworks and policies and our compliance with them. Please also refer to our Risk Management Statement which illustrates how GORCC fits into our Group Risk Governance Framework.
