Corporate responsibility message
In keeping with our carbon neutral commitment, we have purchased GreenPower and carbon offsets from Origin to reduce greenhouse emissions related to our 2008 AGM and February Board meeting.
In particular, we have purchased 100% accredited GreenPower to avoid emissions from electricity consumption used for the AGM and our February Board meeting.
We have also purchased verified offsets from Origin's Carbon Reduction Scheme to offset the emissions for air travel and accommodation for designated NAB employees and Board members travelling to Perth for the AGM and our February Board meeting. In total, this has saved around 144.2 tonnes of CO2e from entering the atmosphere.
